Chandler's Black History Celebration Giving Portal
The South Chandler Self Help Foundation as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, our mission is to foster community development and create and preserve affordable and diverse housing opportunities in Chandler through education, training, advocacy and development.
Chandler’s Black History celebration will reflect on the history of Black life then and now by exhibiting vignettes reflecting on historical events in the United States and notable events in Chandler during the same period. Thereby creating an awareness to encourage a grounded self-awareness and ennobled understanding that can happen with full immersion into one’s history and heritage. It’s also a way of remembering important people and events in the history of African diaspora. This rich history will serve to enhance the historical archives for the City of Chandler.
Your sponsorship donation will help fund the overall production of the program, souvenir booklets, publications, media plugs, press releases, award and recognition ceremony. We expect dignitaries from all over the state of Arizona.
SCSHF, Inc. in conjunction with the City of Chandler, is most excited as we prepare for Chandler’s Black History 2020 Celebration, scheduled for February 7, 2020, at Chandler Center for the Arts. This event is a collaboration to educate and promote diversity within Chandler and neighboring communities. However, to guarantee success, your assistance is needed. The huge success of Chandler’s Black History celebration is credited in large part to sponsors who will lend their names and financial support. Corporate sponsorship enhances programming.
